The Mbovana is shorter, lighter, faster and quieter than any other roof bolting jig currently on the market. The jackhammer is integrated with the thrust leg, making operation simpler and safer.

The overall length of the jackhammer and thrust leg has been materially reduced, allowing for a longer stroke length, and thus reducing the number of drill passes required. The weight of the jackhammer and thrust leg has also been significantly reduced, adding to the ease of use for the RDO.

The Mbovana is a low-cost option, specifically designed to work with the Shova Integrated Drill Steels and a Shova service exchange programme, yielding the lowest operating cost option for the user.
